Community Purchase Making Progress

The The Lochside Press has reported that the community-led purchase of Ardenconnel Wood is moving closer to completion.

According to the article, Rhu and Shandon Community Trust has now secured charitable status and community right-to-buy and hopes to conclude the acquisition from Luss Estates imminently - a key step in securing the woodland for local use. A community workshop has also helped kick-start logo design and branding for the Trust as work continues to bring Ardenconnel into community ownership.
