Ardenconnel Wood Takeover Complete

Ardenconnel Wood in Rhu is now officially community-owned. After 18 months of negotiation, Rhu and Shandon Community Trust has completed the purchase of the 30-acre woodland from Luss Estates. Attention now turns to restoration — including safety work on hazardous trees this autumn and tackling invasive species like rhododendron ponticum, with volunteers welcome to get involved.
