Overview:
Michael Philip from the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI) has completed an initial survey of the wood to record what plants we have as part of the botanical survey of Britain and Ireland. Approximately 180 different plants were recorded, although Michael thinks many more will be dormant under deep leaf litter and in areas of deep shade.
He also ran a small botany identification workshop to start training us in how to run future community workshops and surveys.
